I have seen many questions on training German Shepherds in here, and the advice runs from on end of the spectrum to the other.
So, my question is: Is there ONE method of training that works for every German Shepherd?

No, actually there isn’t. Basic German Shepherd Puppy obedience training should focus on socialization and positive reinforcement. Also dealing with most behavioral problems requires a similar approach. But German Shepherds with severe aggression problems sometimes need different approaches. However I never advocate any approach that is violent or causes fear or harm to the German Shepherd.

My puppy puked up a lil of his food and 4-5 worms, I set an appointment for him around 4, until then, how do i take care of him? Should i continue feeding him until then?

That is a really stupid answer. For my 7 week puppy to be puking this many worms, Of course I’m worrying and taking him to the vet.
Thanks for the answers. Do i have to take in a stool sample or can i just take the worms?

NO DONT FEED him …just give him lots of love ..the vet will gove him medication and he willl be fine

I have a Weimaraner and she knows all the basic commands like sit stay come
And she listens to them most of the time.
But how do I take it to the next level and train her to listen to it everytime
I even go offleash with her in the forest and she does good there too
But if she sees another German Shepherd or goes into hunting mode when she sees a duck she wont listen to come
Iv already taught her the commands; she knows them I just need to know how to make her more obedient

First step is to kennel the German Shepherd for 2 hours. Then put her on a leash and say “Let’s go to work”.
Second step is to use one word commands, followed by using the German Shepherds name.
Example: Dog, Come.
Dog, stay, Dog go-away. Dog, stop biting me!

We have a black lab. He’s a big dog, but very easy to groom. He actually LOVES getting wet and all the attention. For a while, I did his grooming. For a while, I was commuting 2 hours and generally didn’t have the time. I was making good money, so the didn’t matter. Now I’m closer to home and the does matter. Calling around, I got prices of to . Does this seem high? Maybe I should become a dog groomer, as this seems like easy money.

The other day I saw a question about breeders and proper care for German Shepherd puppies and stuff and I got curious. I know that in general, backyard breeders don’t give their German Shepherd puppies the proper care that they need. At the same time a lot of people make it sound as if the German Shepherd puppies from the backyard breeders will all die while they are still German Shepherd puppies. It is possible to bring a backyard breeder puppy and raise it to good health, right? Also, is it unlikely?
