Question by doughman2040: Are there any alternate methods of training a Dog to sit other then “treat over nose”?

^^ this link says to hold the treat over their nose so they but there butt down to get there. but my pup just lunges out for the treat instead of staying still. Any tips?

Lift up their chin slightly u dont want to hurt them and also put down on their butt and say sit and once they do immediatly give them a treat
