Training your German Shepherd to be obedient can be a long and frustrating process. All you want him to do is listen when you call him and do as he is told, can that really be that complicated? But then when you think about it, you think about how difficult it is to teach your children to do what you say, to follow rules and obey. Training your German Shepherd to be obedient is actually quite easy in comparison.
Obedience training teaches your German Shepherd to act properly and has many benefits, for the German Shepherds and their human companions alike. Obedience Dog training is critical in order to prevent such negative behaviors as aggression, biting, digging holes in the yard and urinate in the house and these are some reasons owner turn their German Shepherds into the pound.
It is a fact that over 85 percent of the German Shepherds that end up in the pound are because the owner could not deal with the way their German Shepherd is acting anymore. At times some owner become so frustrated it leads them to neglecting or abusing their German Shepherds. This is not why you first went out and found a German Shepherd to bring home.
These are some reasons owner turn their German Shepherds into the pound. And when a German Shepherd is unruly ,no one wants to take them home and we all know what that means for a German Shepherd the no one wants.Very sad indeed.
It seems to be a widely-held school of though that a well trained German Shepherd is a happy German Shepherd and of course, you are a happier person when your German Shepherd listens to you.
There is help for those owners and German Shepherds to live a happy, long life together.Obedience German Shepherd training is the way to teach your German Shepherd all the right things you want him to do.And it is easier than you may think.
With the proper obedience German Shepherd training, your German Shepherd will learn to be respectful of your house by not urinating, respect your children and or your friends, by not jumping all over them.
Earning your German Shepherd’s respect is the first crucial step in effective German Shepherd training, and it will lay the groundwork for all succeeding training.
There are many reasons to train a German Shepherd properly. A calm and well-mannered German Shepherd is pleasant to be near, both for the German Shepherd’s family, and other people he might encounter. There is nothing better than having a well trained German Shepherd.

Please note that our dogs are NOT Shiloh Shepherds, but do have a larger size and less angulation than most typical German Shepherds. Nor are they King Shepherds, however they are above average in size (some say king sized) with a large-boned structure. However, all are AKC German Shepherd Dogs. Puppies are whelped indoors and raised underfoot in our home with lots of love, occasionally available to select companion homes.
