How much usually does the shots and care they need until i can take him out for walks?
If you dont put him in the crate, where does he sleep the first day?

You really don’t want too big of a crate. The idea is for them to feel safe in the crate and consider it a bed. They are not supposed to potty in the crate so you don’t want pee pads inside of it. You could put a chew toy or stuffed animal in the crate with him along with a blanket.
To potty train him put him on a schedule and take him out every hour or so and when hes out and does his business be sure to praise him for going outside.
