    These commands aren’t very stern or sharp. The high-pitched voice just makes the trainer seem less dominant than the dog.

    @malicho69

    I grew up with lots of German Shepherd’s (my Katja and Sabine are at my feet as I type this) I don’t think there is any difference in loyalty, both genders are super super loyal (I think that’s the most endearing thing about them). The males do tend to want to get out and as you put it “patrol”.

    I discovered early on that my German Shepherd cared little for treats. However, She’ll do anything for her red kong. It’s important to find out what motivates them.

  20. malicho69 says:

    if you get a male you should have a big yard so he can patrol, since that’s what males naturally do. females are better for house dogs, and ive heard they’re slightly more loyal and defensive of their owner. i have a female and she gets very whiny when someone even hugs me.

  21. bokozoto says:

    Those dogs are already trained to sit -.-, we need a training to how get a dog to actually sit -.-

  22. TheHardysfan5 says:

    this dog is already trained

  23. Michael3714 says:

    I have a male and a female brought them up the same way and i know the female is much more loyal than the male.

  24. j0hnxjxrambo says:

    have you ever own a german shepherd before? looks like you haven’t. i used to have a male one for 4 years and nothing went wrong. you’ve been blinded by people who are scared of german shepherds.

  25. dag4141 says:
