Please note that our dogs are NOT Shiloh Shepherds but are distantly related, with larger size and less angulation than most GSD. Nor are they King Shepherds, however they are above average in size (some say king sized) with a large-boned structure. However, all are AKC German Shepherd Dogs. Puppies are whelped indoors and raised underfoot in our home with lots of love, occasionally available to select companion homes. the pure black one looks like a belgian shepherd… but its so identical to my dog! (except her breed is unkown, probably a wolf hybrid) and shes much smaller, about up to your knees
i have a black coat 9 month german shepherd dog and i need to train it to just show agressive action against strangers because it is so frienldy , what can i do ??
I heard about black gsd before, but i’m n ot sure, the body built of this one strongly reminds me of belgian shepherds.
it depends on the genetics and bloodline…my solid blacky is 27″ at the withers and was told thi is tall. I would suspect yours could get 23 to 27″ at the withers as well.
How much are German Shepherds supposed to cost? We got ours about ten months ago, and he was Free. Six hour drive there and back though XD

i have a 3 month old german shepherd ; solid black coat, he IS pure bred, and i was just wondering.. they grow the same size as black / tan ones rght? in the vid the black 1s way smaller, but is that due to it being younger?
Ok. people go get a book on German Shepherds and it will tell you the colors of German Shepherds.All information on German Shepherds state German Shepherds can come in Black & Tan, all Black, Black & Sable, and another Black & something combo. Alastian was given to German Shepherds in England during the Anti-German movement.

All German Sheppherd are supposed to resemble Adolf Hitler’s dog,Blondie,,,White and jet Black GSH,are NOT pure breeds…Just look at the colour of the worlds first GSH,his name was Hector,,brown and tan colour.

Just so you all know, your pretty much all wrong, White Geman Shepherds dont really exist any more, they are now known as American White Shepherds for whatever reason (think its cos they are seen as a “fault” in the gene pool) however German Shepherds can be any colour in the black tan or all black variant. I have a JET black Shepherd but he has a little tan on his paws – now you can say that he IS a shepherd cos of the tan,bu the next dog is all black and isnt a GSD?! Retards-get and education

Go to Google IMAGES….type in “Belgian Sheepdog” and “Groenendael”….now do you see why people think there is such thing as a black German Sheperd? G.S.’s come in black and tan…black and silver…variants of tan with black mask…white is a no-no to true keepers of the flock.
German Sheppherd dogs are not supposed to be black or white,but a mix between tan and dark brown..Adolf Hitler was right when he killed white and black ones.
