Obedience Dog Training-Stop Your Pets Bad Behavior Today

Most dog owners have the best of intentions, but have no idea how to turn their pesky German Shepherd pup into a sweet and well-tempered dog. This is when obedience dog training is a great idea. This will help any owner learn how manage their animal when they need to be well behaved.

You can find obedience dog training as close as your community. There are normally programs in every town or city that specialize in obedience dog training. You will find that these courses vary in price, and are run by different types of folks. Some are conducted by those trained to help dogs, and others are run by those who have just had great success in the past with obedience dog training, and want to help you learn what they know.

In other cases, you may find obedience dog training available through your local pet store. Many chains have these classes, and they may offer them throughout the year. These will also vary in price, and you will want to call ahead to schedule the best classes to fit your life. Obedience dog training classes are many times held during the day, but you can also find ones that are run in the evening hours and on the weekends.

Finally stop the chewing, jumping, biting , barking, whining, etc.

When you find the right obedience dog training course for you and your pet, you may be wondering what to expect. The trouble is, you never know what you are getting unless you ask. Many courses cover the basics of teaching your dog to heed your command, no matter what that command may be. They may teach the basics that most of us are familiar with, including sitting, heeling, and to stop barking. You may also find out secrets on how to stop aggressive behavior against other dogs and human beings.

If you and your dog have gone through obedience dog training, but things are still looking dim, you may need to find someone to work one on one with you and your pet. This type of obedience dog training may cost you a little more money, but you may end up with more bang for your buck this way. The trainer can then zoom in on your dog’s specific problems, and also help you where you are lacking. Dogs look to their human friends for guidance, almost like you are their pack leader, and you need to know how to assume this role effectively.

Use these proven techniques to put an end to your dogs behavoir problems.

These dogs are amazing, I want one

@cybertourniquet I say what ever works. It’s really up to the owner which training route they go and not every dog reacts to all training methods. It has to work for you and your dog.

  3. cybertourniquet says:

@M3lala91 Voila… Engagement, Focus, and socialization (neutral socialization) (see Michael Ellis).

  4. M3lala91 says:

@cybertourniquet He didn’t specify how new he was but if the owner gave him the correction he more than likely has issues with the coming from a down to a sit and the come afterward that and he seemed a bit distracted with the noises going on. Since he is in aggression training I don’t think they want him to believe he can ignore his handler just because he got distracted. I really think it’s just because he’s in aggression training though. Bullies really like testing your limits lol

  5. cybertourniquet says:

@Simbstah In america, the judge will cut your point really deep if you do any movement or signal (even raising your eyebrow)

  6. cybertourniquet says:

@M3lala91 sit means sit and come means come, I am agree with it. But.. what I see in this video is, the trainer / handler giving the command and correction at the same time. I always give one or two second delay after the command before the correction given if needed. Don’t get me wrong, I made mistake doing what she did and the result: the dog associate the correction as a part of the command and it can get worse if you use e-collar. So in my opinion, the dog should get basic obedience training

  7. M3lala91 says:

    @BiGDaNBoRiCuA they are both pits…

  8. M3lala91 says:

@cybertourniquet that dog was new, in any dog training sit means sit and come means come. You don’t say it twice. I have read this in several dog training books. If the dog doesn’t do what you ask the first time you make it happen. If you don’t your dog with all ways have the notion that I don’t have to listen to her right now. And when dealing with aggression training that is NOT an option. come means 2 second ago and they should act as such.

    amazing trainers

  10. MsLone5 says:

i wish they had training like this in california to train my pit

  11. Simbstah says:

Can you make hand signs in competition in america? Im from Sweden and here you loose points if you as much as move your hands or engage in eye contact with the dog. Vocal only!

  12. the1andonlymean1 says:

your love for this breed is obvious in that you handle them very carefully and cover your six with the socialization after a putting the dog in defensive drive and then aggression. One thing that i noticed is that you might want to work more on a full bite and letting the dog have the sleeve after wards. Keeping the dog from the sleeve builds frustration. Good job on the handling

  15. technoaddict83 says:

@aveyyoung in my opinion if you have a backyard you should go out and grab a tire and just let it play heavy make her tired maybe is doing that cuase is depress if you keep it inside the house without doing nothing that energy is there they have to be active and they havwe to take that agression on something else then after it will be tired that is gonna say nah kid i’m tired :) or send it to one school like this one like i said my opinion hope i help

  16. shahsoon says:

@aveyyoung be careful coz it bites! If i’m in ur place I wont keep him.

  17. H15A5H1 says:

    great job !

  18. aveyyoung says:

We rescued a pitbull 9 weeks old She is very aggressive i know the diffrence between playing and trying to rip your hand off! I have 3 kids and she bites them alot i know she is just playing. However other times she really is aggressive the hair stands up on the back of her neck growling trying to bite i mean really going nuts! It takes a few mins of holding her down before she calms down!! this happens at least once a day. Oh and she does not like other dogs at all. What can i do to stop it?

  19. kirkseyfamily says:

wonderful!!! how can this type of obedience be accomplished minus “professionals”?! I have an APBT who is certainly a family dog (I have 5 children) but this type of training is essential to protecting them (and my wife)!!!
you guys did a wonderful job!!

good stuff i see that he stays on the left side and the trainer starts to walk with the left foot etc… my trainer told me not to say good boy because its over stimulation

  22. chasexomb13 says:

That was amazing. I would love to meet you and your trainers. That was significant skill work with those dogs. I train all my dogs, and would like to learn a bit about protection training.

  23. Computerlover1994 says:

i don’ want to meet a dog like that i don’t want to be near a dog like that unless i am his master

  24. nicusor995 says:
