Question by Amanda: What age should I start bringing a puppy in for grooming that will need monthly grooming all her life?
I don’t want her to be aggressive towards the groomers so I want to get her used to being groomed early on even if that just means a quick bath and combing.

Yep. As soon as she has all her shots then she should be able to be groomed.

actually if you waited until it had all its shots it would be a year old I would say at week 24 :)
    they get shots at 6, 9, 12, 16, 24 weeks then a booster at 1year

Call various groomers in your area.

You can start acclimating her to being handled/groomed by brushing her every day, examining her feet, getting her used to staying still while you comb her.

As soon as her vaccinations are complete………..until then groom daily at home so she is used to it

Grooming isn’t just about making your puppy look good. Regular care removes dead hair, keeps the coat and skin healthy, and gives you the opportunity to check your pup’s general health. It’s also important time spent together, building your relationship, trust and understanding. There’s even scientific evidence that grooming sessions reduce stress and blood pressure – for both of you!
