Heres my 8 month old german shepherd puppy Sam. In this vid hes almost 9 months, he’s really elongated and weighs about 35kg. He’s the perfect height for a german shepherd (should not exceed 65cm) and he’s extremely energetic and intelligent. Today we teach you how to train a dog of his size!!
Interesting that you use hand commands with speech. My 2 GSD’s are speech only. But thats usually because one hand is using a torch, the other the lead.
I hope you only punish the dog when cuaght in the act as well. Dogs live ‘in the moment’ and a smack on the noise when you come home to find the yard a mess will only have the dog associate you coming home with punishment.

lmao around 1:08 the dog lays down, and then after the dog already layed down he says “Drop”. and then follows it up with “See Sam Just automatically drops now”. This video cracked me up the whole time, its like a joke
Of course u can make a dog run if u throw a treat lolol.. All that aside, it is a beautiful dog, I have a german shepard too, i’ll have to put some videos up, she doesn’t listen first time tho, but she loves frisbee and she knows alot of commands.
i have a white coated german shepherd all white and they do shed a lot. This is a truly amazing dog breed
i got a solid black coated german shepherd.. (long coat) and he’s 3 months old and 0mg i didnt know they grow to their full height at 9 months? :L nowhere near as obedient as Sam lol, when should i take him to obedience training (months)?
so if they do something wrong your supposed to flick them on the nose?

ha yeah i know!! too smart for his own good. Predicts what im going to say. Now i have to mix it up with shake, stand, roll over, drop, sit and hug. Doesn’t know whats coming now!!
