However, actually, the point of the slip chain is NOT to cut of the air supply, it is suppossed to be used to give corrections when the dog does something wrong. They should never be used to choke your dog or give him any prolonged discomfort. Many people think that slip chain are for choking the dog and end up using them wrong. They are noot for choking or hurting dogs, they are there to make it easier to give corrections.</description>
