My Jack isn’t very obedient either, he listens when I’m firm, but otherwise he has a mind of his own. The breed in general can be very stubborn, but that is usually when there is some dominance confusion.

Man would be so dissapointing not to be able to have your dog leach-less. I want to play fetch and run with it and stuff. Tho I prob could after some time and training, but you never know if the dog might go berserk and attack people/animals? :S

I import my GSD from Czech republic. All have been extremely stable with kids and family and all have been great protection dogs. They never go berserk and only attack when the situation warrants or when commanded to do so. MD

These dogs saved lifes in mexico in 1985 after an earthquake. T1hank you doggies and thank you germany for having brought them .

bad idea to put a shepard in a leash…let me tell you why…i was walking one day and my shepard saw a squeirl at the park and well i thought i had my feet set so i wouldnt let it go but for some resone
i guess i wasent holding him by the leash right and i fell on a rock and i broke my knee and i steped on his foot,but anyway the women is righ about the GSD being active my GSD and me alwayz take a five mile run up padua hills and we run up then we run back down and he always wins the run

German Shepherds are the best. I wish more people would realize what gentle giants they are & save more from shelters.
